Just interested to know what bedding you all use, Im currently using card board as i found straw quite dusty, but finding that the card board gets quite dusty in the summer to.

I have experimented with a lot but always seem to come back to good quality shavings for value, ease of use and dust minimisation.

Flax- cheap, genuinely dust free and very absorbant.

Miscanthus (elephant grass), we were starting to find the shaving round us dusty so we tried it and loved it!

Newspaper. Nearly all the yard are on it as it is very economical and similar to shavings in terms of ease of mucking out. Not dusty at all but they can make the yard quite messy as they blow everywhere!

I use flax and esibed but find flax quite expensive ....smerls how much do you pay for yours?
