Bedmax or snowflake shavings?

I have shetlands, so impossible to muck out Bedmax. I didn't find it remotely absorbent either. When my local feed shop were closing, they only had Bedmax, at hugely a discounted price and I still didn't buy it.

This sounds daft but I miss muck8ng out my horse, I really do. It used to give me so much enjoyment.

What do you use to muck out Shetlands on shavings bed? It’s currently taking me ages with 2 on one bed
