Bedmax

Hi all,

Anyone currently use Bedmax for their Horses ?
If you do, whats the best way to work with it.
As do you remove the wet every day, every week, every month,
or keep it as a deep litter bed, v deep, and only the droppings
removed daily & any wet that is on the surface.

Any advice, opinions greatly accepted.

I use it, and combine it with Megazorg to increase it's absorbancy where my horse pees. I take the wet out twice a week and at the moment am using 3 bales a week plus a couple of Megazorg every 4 weeks. I have a full bed to the door that I like to keep very deep. It won't work as a skimpy bed on mats as it's not as absorbant as small flake shavings.

I use it in conjunction with paper, remove every day and dropping. Skip out as much as possible i don't through bed up jusust take out wet and back fill with dry. At the moment I cannot do this due ti injury but this is the norm...........................

I use it mixed with littlemax. I put a bale of each down alternating each time every 6 days. I have a semi deep litter bed. Poo out every day an wee out probably every third day. Love my horse's bed. It's about 1/2 a foot deep with two foot wide and high banks around it and it's always white. But then my boy doesn't move around much at night. I pay £7.49 for the bed max and £7.99 for the littlemax
