today we lost a amazing horse nimrod was a 20 year old pure bred arab he was always happy and loved attention he was pts this morning his owners had had him since he was tiny and broke him themselves He suffered with myoperthy(sp) where the muscles in his back legs had calcified meaning as much turn out and recently he got lami and they decided it was best to let him go 
Just a few weeks ago we lost holly she was 12 and had been rescued from the auctions as a baby her owner doted on her and she never ever went with out the best after months of box rest and pills her owner decided she had had enough she had lami and then got cushings she was on a morphine patch and the pergolide had stopped affecting her
and in december we lost 4 year old clysdale ed he was really poorly vet couldnt find anything untill to late his body was poisning itself and he was sadly pts
and before that we lost 32year old simba who used to share a feild with my old boy jack Simba may have been 32 but he was 4 in the head haha sadly december 3rd 2010 he lay down in his field and never got up he was pts while his owner of 32years was next to him she had rescued him all them years ago and the vet said he was to young to be away from his mum and he would be lucky to make it past 24hours
