But I'm not sure if I point it out that I won't just sound patronising!
Looking after a horse for someone at mine, it's been injured and is out of work.
Currently not fed as we have plenty of grass and its behaving impeccably.
I've been given a tub of calmer, expensive stuff which they explained was the best and really worked. They wanted it fed a few weeks before it returns home to them. Fair enough. Horse can be tricky and sharp apparently.
However they have dropped off feed to put said calmer into and it's a stud feed!
Surely this is high energy and kind of contradicting the calmer?
What reason might it need stud mix?! (It's a gelding and not young)
I don't want to send him home pumped full of un-required hard feed and him be a nightmare for them!
Am I missing something? It's clearly written on the bag but I don't want to point it out and sound like in interfering or do I just shut up and do as I've been told?!
