(apologies for the size of the photos!)
been trying to keep it a secret but i was only able to for 3 days! lol
Ria has been given the all clear!! well.. sort of! vets words were "shes heading very much in the right direction, 98% sound. you are free to do what you want with her!" woopwoop!!!!
(for those that didnt know.. i was told by the same vet to retire her when she had just turned 5 years old (shes nearly 6 now) due to a fractured pastern joint. each time he came out to see her he couldnt believe the improvements she was making so we never stopped fighting and held onto the hope that maybe one day she could be ridden again... now look at her!)
so today i jumped her for the first time in about a year and she LOVED it. she was so excited she kept leaping the jumps. this horse has so much power behind (as you can see from me getting catapulted!) and is so scopey! im so happy for her to be back doing what she loved the most. after our little jumping session she was just so cheery and bright, so amazing to see her like that i was in tears!
thankyou to all those that believed in us and gave me the strength to carry on and not give up hoping.
