I was just wondering what you'd pay for a rising 3, 13.2hh (to make 14hh) piebald gelding. lovely nature, good movement. unbacked, but leads out in heavy traffic, great to handle, trim, travel etc.
this is in North Yorkshire, if that helps.
Any suggestions on the price range?

Im not in North Yorkshire but depending on breeding, I would pay anything from £500 - £1000. May change this a bit but wouldn't really want to go too much above unless it had exceptional potential.

How much is the gelding you've been offered?

I wouldn't pay anything as we don't 'do' geldings but I would say he's worth about £700-£800.

about £400 personally, can pick up a generic small cob gelding anywhere.

He was at £1250, but she is overstocked and knows how much I like him. She's offered me first dibs on him at £600...
