Sitting indoors listening to the rain hammering down and worrying about the nags out in it with no shelter although they have got rugs on whatever use they are . One wouldn't be caught to come in and the other wont stay in alone. Pointless really as theres nowt I can do about it, just hate the thought of them being cold and miserable.
 
Total opposite here. OH went to work at 06:45 and had to scrape the frost of the windscreen for the second day running! It's been cold here but warmed up as it has been clear and sunny.
 
If the rain is stressing you out now, maybe horse ownership is not for you, especially as we are only at the start of Autumn!!!
 
and the woman behind the counter said 'I wouldn't expect them to keep me dry in this weather' WHAT they are water proof!!! it has been persistant but not really heavy here today, they did refund on the trousers and I got a different pair that I hope keep me dry tomorrow.

have got to take back my ariats windemeres too as they leak as well but are marked as waterproof.

HHF it's not winter yet we have that to look forward to
 
Where is it raining so bad?? We've had some heavy rain here but we needed it to be honest as it's not rained for ages. Mine are still out with no rugs on (well except for the oldie now it's got a bit cooler). My youngster is fattie growing a nice furry coat and my 22 yo hates being too warm so is still out naked as I haven't clipped him yet and he's getting all fuzzy. It's going to drop to 9 tonight so not cold. I cannot be miserable about it (ok the getting dark is depressing) as really we've had a fab summer.

You see, everyone should just live in Yorkshire! :)
