Been to see a spotty horse... well OK... stallion!!!

When I first was shown advert for him I wasn't 100% convinced... he looked the right build, right height (16hh), and is an all rounder with lovely paces for dressage.

The more I asked about him, the more good things I heard. He has BD points, everyone who has seen him raves about his paces and how nice he is.

So we've been to visit and all I can say is OH MY GOD! He is stunning in the flesh. He is a total love, and a good nature was absolutely top of my list and he was lovely, loving the attention and he really has the WOW factor.

And we've seen 3 babies, a leopard spot off a chestnut mare, a black with a white blanket and black spots off a black mare, and a bay off a dun that may spot out yet, but they are not yearlings yet. All really friendly and gorgeous and cute!

If you want to breed a spotty your best chance is to use a few spot appaloosa

She's chestnut. I know I'll get anything from a chestnut to him or anything in between, but I don't mind what I get, plain chestnut or spots included!

Will be a supervised covering but I should be there with her at the time.

I'm pleased the babies are all so laid back too, we don't want a spawn of satan mark II.

Mind you sister has totally fallen for him too and wants to send a job lot!

. He is very nice looking but he doesn't look anything like any of my Appaloosa's....maybe they are different in the UK?

But his sire is Negative Nugget and the dam was Fenjay Royal ...errrr, Star I think...

There are a lot of American lines in there somewhere apparently though he was bred in the UK (LV that is)

I don't think the photos show anywhere near how big he is. He has a really solid neck, big shoulder and broad chest. In fact he's built like a brick sh!thouse!!!

He's got a decent amount of bone too, and he's a lot heavier built than Asti, a lot more bone than her, but the same good chest and front end. Though she has a nicer bottom!!!!
