Beeston Market

In general - don't go unless you are strong enough to not take everything home or be upset by some of the lots. Older horses esp going through the ring always make me feel sad that they aren't chilling out in a field somewhere.

Yeah I've been before and didn't come back with anything. Just wanted to see if anyone has got any success stories about it. Can imagine what happens to the oldies, got a 22year old myself

Bought a beautiful coloured mare about 6 months back. Healthy and is doing some lovley dressage and jumping. Will be showing her in the spring. Spoke to the seller after the sale and she was at the auction because of finantial problems. I got a fantastic bargain:D

We've got a section A from there. She was drugged at the auction & had a foal taken off her there (we didn't know either at the time)! She was WILD when she 'woke up'. We persevered though & she's fab now.

Woke up to find her foal gone, presumably? :( Glad she's got a good home.
