Did you all see the futurity from Solihull Riding Club over the weekend? We were delighted as my friends 2 year old Ashlan Shadow Dancer got first premium. My OH works at Solihull Riding Club as groundsman and it was so nice to see my local riding club and his place of work feature on the TV. I was on the telly too and a lot of my friends. Solihull Riding Club weren't even going to hold the futurity as it was meant to be the Heart Of England show centre, but they had strangles so luckily it came to us. It was a shame as the club only had two days notice otherwise I think the place would have been spruced up a lot more.

We presented two foals there for one of our owners, and I have to say I thought the venue did a great job, especially given the short notice they were given.

It wast the Sports Horse Centre nr Coventry which had the outbreak, The evaulations went ahead as scheduled at the Heart Of England.

Yes, it was redirected from the Sports Horse Centre to Solihull RC

Yes i think solihull was a great venue, especially under the circumstances, the sport horse centre had strangles for quite a while but tried to hide it unfortunately, I hate to think what would have happened if the relevent people hadn't found out and it had all gone ahead!

Sorry, my mistake it was the Sports Horse Centre! Whoops. Yes I was very proud of my local riding club and my friends horse Jeth. I really hope it will be on there again next year.
