Also posted in pictures thread but not getting enough attention to satisfy my gushing pride :D

Well somehow 10 months have past since I bought my boy and I've recently been comparing current photos with those taken when I first bought him. I'm so pleased with his progress, at times it felt like I would never get there and I doubted my decision of buying him. But I couldn't be without him now and although we still have a lot of work to do with schooling (me and him!) I am proud of what we've achieved so far.

Sorry if the pics turn out massive - I've linked them from FB and they tend to be awkward to resize

Wow what a difference. He looks like a foal in the before picks and a proper grown up pony in the afters, that's quite a transformation in 10 months!
How big is he? He looks quite small in the pics of just him, but looks mich bigger with you on him!

Yes I said he looked like a foal too, especially the one where he's stood in the arena front on. He's just a smidge under 15hh. Transformation mainly due to the fact that he couldn't eat properly when I bought him and since has had 2 teeth removed and periodontal disease sorted out. Also lots of muscle wastage which has since been worked on but still working through as caused problems with upper fixation of the patella. Nearly there with it all though and will be able to start working on the fun side of things now :)

Thanks everyone :) We're just getting to the stage now where he is strong enough to do proper work in the school. I've got the help of a great rider/instructor who is getting him back on track before starting to give me some lessons. I can't wait to be able to post some photos of us doing some nice ridden work and eventually jumping. Just a shame that Winter is around the corner - hope we have a better one than last year - yikes!
