I have just bought him back into work after doing very little or nothing for 3 months while I had my operation, so he will lose a little weight

I had him last November so nearly a year now, bless him

He looks fab and I would be very happy him going into winter like that, perhaps not so going in to spring though.

He looks a different horse! He's much more muscled, well done. Oh and I wouldn't say he's fat more unfit, that tummy will come up with some work and winter weather

disagree sorry! I dont see any muscle definition there! He is very, er, rounded lets say in the belly department but as you say he has done next to nothing for 3 months on good grass i presume so now he is back in work that should move on. I'd liike to see a bit more muscle on his bum - jumping or hill work will do this easily. other than that for 3 months out, i wouldnt worry too much!!
