shes feeling very well as she jumped out into the field over a five bar gate, fence or the 4ft hedge....naughty pony!
 
She's had two solutions from the vet. To start a purple solution then some white lotion. I've no idea what they actually are, the vet gave me them.
It's been naked for about two weeks and I used sterile honey on it and now I am just cleaning it with saline once a day.
She's been on rest most the time, she's not had any access to mud as she's been on box or yard pen rest. She jumped out into the field, so as its snowy, I've left her out with the gang with access to the yard :)
 
I thought honey may have had a hand. I've just treated a wound (not as bad as that!) with honey and I have been truly amazed.

I've seen brilliant results on people so it made sense to use it :) its a bit messy but I'm pleased its helped.
She also had blue antibiotic spray on it but I think she became sensitive to it as her skin got irritated....
