Wow - these are all great!
Also very inspiring - my Jerry was a skinny thing lacking muscles when I first bought him in July. He has put on a bit of weight and muscle but I think it will be hard to keep this up over the winter as I have no schooling area and can't use the paddock when it gets wet.
However, you have all inspired me to keep at it and to go on 'schooling hacks' to continue to improve his topline!

Lovely pics .... I did mean Madhector lol child on my knee

She is lovely , thats the only thing thats wrong with tommy ... His trotting is very high action , would love him to really extend out more .

Lovely pics everyone x

I didn't have a chance to look at the photos earlier, but having looked at them now - all I can say is wow!! We must all be pretty darned good owners! All of our horses look stunning after being in our ownership for a short while.

most definitely Tia.

I love these kind of posts. It's always good to see how our horses/ponies have progressed since we got them

Lukey when he arrived here in April. He'd been a very poorly boy and I cannot believe he was ever that small!!!!!

He'd been sedated to travel so was a very sleepy boy in this one.

He looks amazing, you must be so proud of him.

Thanks! I am and he is my horse of a lifetime, he's paid me back many times over for rescuing him. How he ever got in that state though I shall never know. But he's safe now

Honestly, he's a big girls blouse. A couple of weeks ago it chucked it down, and both ponies were soaked so went to fetch them in for abit. Jelly I couldn't catch, she was happy as larry in the mud. Luke on the other hand was standing looking pathetic at the gate so I took pity on him

Are you trying to tell me to stop being such a softie with him?

HAHA!!!! he's like Red the roan we kept..further up in the thread...first sign of a grey cloud on the horizon and he's in the barn for the rest of the day!!!!!! Hardy Natives? My Arse!

The day I tried him out - he was 3yo and 14.3 and when you took the saddle off his withers and ribs were very prominant.. He was so unhappy looking and unsure of himself - however he had given me a lovely ride so I took the chance.....

Now, nearly 2 years later... Hes a big strong 5yo, almost 16h and as arrogant as they come...
