I know these threads are always popular, so here are a couple of before and after photos of Cassie.....

Nov 2015 (two weeks after she came home) - it's weird because her girth is now several holes higher than in this photo so although she looks really weedy in this picture, she was rather rotund; I also don't remember her looking that worried/unsure:

A couple of days ago - looking so grown up and self assured:

And action pictures.....

This is from when I first got her last autumn and just after breaking in January this year.

This is the most recent one I have and is from last week. She was only 5 in November so shes still growing a tiny bit and filling out.

A very unflattering one of her unharnessed, shes stood on a slope but you can see shes finally levelled up a bit

Louie lying.jpg

In May 2015, as a 4 year old - the day before he went off to be backed. Typical teenager having a good lie-in before school starts!

This week, now 8. He is working at advanced medium with his totally fabulous professional rider. I'm hoping to be able to get back on board late this summer once I've had hip surgery (only aiming for a nice plod through the woods, nothing fancy!).

Yes! That would have been us! :D Were you doing Quest?

He's 6'3 and a bit now o_O... sadly pony is still 14.2! On the plus side it means I get to ride him again now, although his two year old brother is adamant he will be his pony now. Eddy is delighted, and would love to trundle about being a lead rein pony!

We picked up our new loan boy last weekend. This one is 17.1! I am almost tempted to say, 'ha, try and outgrow that one!" but i don't want to jinx it as he is showing no signs of slowing down!! I am hoping we'll be able to post the transformation photos in a few months as he's rather poor at the moment, but very sweet so far.

I like this thread especially as today is three years to the day that I took Chilli on loan.

Here she is a few days after she arrived, April 2016 post a several month holiday chilling in the field:

And then last year late April 2018 because apparently I haven't taken any side on photos of her since then!:

Doing some jumping in 2016 (those were the days lol!):

And then riding this year:

She's 18 this year and has had a fairly busy life so we just enjoy taking things at our own pace, whether that be a happy plod and stretchy session in the school or a good gallop and something a bit trickier. Just play it by ear, no strict training routine and enjoy ourselves!

Ok here's a Buzz one that's maybe not as good as the others, top was when I tried him, bottom was last weekend. He needs some more muscle building on his topline but he's not so chubby anymore and the big under neck muscle has gone! I still need to learn to ride properly 😅

This is him in the past 12mths. I'm useless at remembering to take photos, useless at taking photos and am generally on my own so it's a poor selection!

I've only just, after months and months of trying, figured out how to load pictures so apologies for the overload!

My little grey was £1 too! Well I had him on loan and he was gifted to me, so paid £1 to make it official 😅

April 2018, the week she came home and Feb 2019. I try to take a side, back and front photo once a month (more recent ones won't load!)

Also one of her recently showing off the hurdling skills her ancestors have given her 🤦‍♀️
