Behaviour and back specialists - recommendations.

Can anyone recomend me an equine back person in the Yorkshire area?

Secondly I need some help with my young horse, he gets anxious on his own and very stressed/spooky hacking out alone. I would really like to overcome this but don't have the confidence to do it all by myself, so am looking for a behaviourist/instructor that may be able to help me - again in the south yorkshire area?

Dr Ray Smith, Equine/Human back muscle and joint specialist, also assists with behaviour problems.

He should be able to help you with both. I've seen his work with an anxious horse and was impressed by his quiet manner and positive handling of the horse and handler.

For back treatment Tim Jarman, he does a clinic at Spofforth equine Therapy Centre but will also come out to you (although he does get very busy and you could wait a while for that) He's very good though, has seen mine several times. See his website http://www.timjarman.co.uk/
