Hi guys
My mare is now on day 313 and can visibly see a very wiggly little baby still cooking 
Just wondering how much your mares changed behaviour wise before the birth … did anyone notice quite a big difference or not much?

My girl has been in since December due to her ripping her hind leg open in the field and had to stay in for it to heal. She’s loved staying in especially with the bad weather we’ve been having … but the last few weeks she’s been able to go out (barn doors are open so she can freely come in/go out) but she just spends her time happily munching haylage in her stable – I lead her out onto the front and she gallops back to her beloved stable. Calm as a cucumber.

But this last week from the moment I arrive at the barn she turns into a loon – pacing her stable – throwing herself about – very OTT - I open her door, she charges out at full pelt then as soon as shes out … back to chilled out self … still isn’t interested in going in the field … then after five mins wanders back to her stable …

Strange x

Mine still has two months to go and if anything she got livelier :) She' always been lively in the field and even though she's very large she still goes from stand still to charge to stop dead, rear, spin and half pass across the field on her two hind legs :)

Haha, she's gone from lovey dovey to giddy arse overnight ... lol shes so funny ... love watching baby moving although Im sure it was would have been very dizzy after all the rolling in the mud she was doing
