Beige or white Mark Todd breeches for SJ/XC

I want to get a nice pair of breeches for getting out and about in, I bought a cheap Harry hall pair (£25ish) but they don't fit very well and are soooo slippery. Moonwalker recommended the Mark Todd Tauranga (sp?) ones, but I can't seem to find any beige/white ones locally to look at the colours to compare.

Would beige or white be most suitable? Is the beige very dark?

The do White ones Becky, look on Surrey Pet Supplies web site, thats were I get mind from.

They do beige too...which is better - beige or white? They're really cheap on the Old Dairy saddlery at the moment too...and I need to do an order from there anyway...

Ive just had a look on that web site, they are cheaper on Surrey pet supplies, mine were £47.99 I think.

As for colour, not sure, up to you really. I wear white for sj, but I do have beige aswell. But wear white mostly.

I refuse to wear white! The beige is nice colour IMO. Not too dark

Get a size bigger than usual, the full seat has NO stretch at all!!!

Yeah the beige are a "nice" beige but then so are the white

Personally for XC/SJ I would tend to go for the beige.

Do as KatB says and get a size bigger unless you don't mind having 4 bums when you put boots on or something

I was in my local tack shop this morning and there's a good selection of MT breeches in there, had a quick look and they look really nice quality will pm you the details as she may post you a pair!

I've got beige full seat for dressage, knee pad ones for sj & xc, they are yummy, but whoever said the full seat ones have no stretch is correct, thats why I can't jump in them!!

I have the white ones are they are dreadful for shifting stains from.

Oooh these are stunning breeches..
i bought a pair off ebay brand new for really good price in my normal size but they were tiny and wouldnt even do up.. so plan on buying a pair in the next size up as they relaly are nice breeches and are a bargaiN!!!

id say beige, tehy're a really nice smart pale beige, not a dark dirty colour like some beiges seem to be!!
