I have never owned horses or ponies that live out 24 hours apart from spending some time in their shelter. Tonight it's REALLY bitter cold. I'm being a woose I know but i'm thinking of them down in their field in this minus temperature with no rugs, and no warm bed and stable
they are used to being out but I just find it really hard to settle as my horses have always had rugs on during the cold weather and been tucked up in a nice dry stable.
They do spend quite a bit of time in their shelter so I'm wondering if they are ok. Sorry for being a baby and I know I will probably get some stick for posting this, but I worry they are keeping warm enough. They have plenty of hay.
