Did anyone else go and see it tonight? The interview afterwards done live by Clare Balding was very good, and I am not generally a fan of hers.
The man has a tortured soul, and I hope he can find happiness. If he hadn't been Champion Jockey he would be in rehab, IMO. A very good film, I recommend it.
The falls looked horrendous on the big screen.

Is there a link please.
Let's hope he does not suffer in later life from the damage done in pursuit of his ambitions from an early age.
I still have an image of his mother driving him [reluctantly] to school and having to physically prise him out of the car.

I would have loved to have seen it on a big screen, but not to be.

I will order the DVD, but also interested to see if it will be on television - if anyone knows?

It is such a shame it was so limited, I was lucky it was fairly local to me. The cinema was far from full, but Monday must be a quiet night for them anyway. I'm sure it will soon be on tv.
It wasn't shown at Newmarket, which I thought was really odd, there must be some people in Newmarket who know there are races for horses that jump!.

Well, it arrived, and has been watched :)

Captivating film, what sacrifices he has taken to be the best - as no doubt all top sportsmen do.

Well worth viewing :)

Mine arrived today as well. Hopefully will watch tomorrow if everything nice and quiet in the house. Don't want any distractions!

I think he did more than any other, after all not many sporstmen risk life and limb, day in day out, knowingly. And he is a nice chap, very generous, and well respected.
