Being brave- Meet my new boy....cc and breed guessing allowed...

Awww thanks everyone for your lovely replies!

Pinball, Navaho and Little Black Mule thanks so much for your pics....your horses are gorgeous! (LBM the colouring of your filly is amazing...im loving her red dipped mane and grey tail! ) I can see why people think there may be more than wee bit of standard bred in my boy.... i think i can see him in pinball's especially - its really got me wondering about him now! (Are your horses feet good? - i notice theyre all barefoot, we were wondering about my boy- as hes got really good feet, farrier said he'd never seen a tb with feet as good as him....being sb may explain that?!)

Evelyn - no ive never seen him pace, although i have seen him do a mega fast trot but thats about it. Ive been doing pole-work with him, really as fittening exercise as we havent got many hills round here, but it has really helped his trot even out and slow down.

Trish - Thanks for your kind words, i'll try and post updates...if i remember to take my camera with me anytime soon!

Thanks everyone xxxx

If he's got some standardbred in him, luck you! I have a standie and love the breed. They have the looks of a tb, but with a little more bone making them more hardy and mine has a fantastic jump.

Mine standardbred is normally very sane and sensible (not today, she did her first fun ride and was very excited by it all) and a lot less spooky than full tb's.

Here's a pic of my standardbred taken today at a fun ride:
