I have been asked to leave my yard on good terms as my mare keeps jumping out of her field because she doesn't like been on her own, which is causing trouble

So when ringing other yards i have been honest, as in she has a nasty kick in her towards other horses mainly but is has been known that she kicks people!

Every single yard has thanked me for being honest as usually people arnt

this baffled me as i imagine its worse lieing and then when something does happen you getting the blame

So, are you honest?

Yep, had a horse who would jump out and who would attack strangers. At my first yard with him I got a nice quiet stallion box next to YO (who was sensible and intelligent enough to deal with him) and at second yard everyone gave his stable door a wide berth.

Why lie? You put people at risk which is no joke.

I was mega honest before I moved tomy new yard as my boy cribbs and has had a houdini phase in his past... I called 2 days before I moved to double double check the new YM was okay, she must have thought I was bonkers :o
Worked out smashing in the end :D

And yes I would always be honest, it's not fair on you, the horse or the yard otherwise!

I must admit at one point i was thinking '' shut up stop talking you will never find a new yard'':o

when she was on full livery they loved her but it was a completely different setup

touch wood the yard im seeing tonight works out :)

100%. I told YO's when i moved there that my horse will go for another horse or it's owner if put in with my 2 as he is very protective over my little one. They were fine with this but one day decided to put new pony in with mine. Horse went for it's owner when she went to get her out (not in an aggresive way bu he didnt want them near his little friend!) From now on my 2 are kept on their own. Also my little one escapes so had to put extra fencing up which they were fine about and my old boy cribs. Which they were not concerned about in the slightest :)
