I have 5 horses (4 coloured one bay)
Eventing is my main discipline I just love it!
I have dressage lessons once a fortnight with Kate Scott and Sj lessons about once a month with Bill Levett or Simon Jobbins
I compete in all desciplines really but main thing is eventing
I work Part time at an IT company so I have time to look after all my horseys!

How long have you been riding for? Erm 27 years (OMG am I THAT old!!)
How Many horses have you got? As of Monday 2
What is your main discipline and why? Dressage, am uselss at jumping and am now banned from it on Dr's orders.
Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom? various people and iregularaly but I'd say once a month in general. (Finance and time restraints)
Do you compete? I try to but am lucky to get out 4 times a year.
Do you work with horses or have another job or lucky enough not to work!!!I work in IT, I hate computers but it's the only thing I'm good at.
Any other interesting info. My parents live on a canal boat

How Many horses have you got? 0 Mine passed away 2 months ago.

What is your main discipline and why? Dressage, because I just love the amount of skill and discipline that is put into a good test and it gives me a lot of pleasure. That and I can't jump anymore.

Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom? Not at the moment but will start having weekly lessons next month.

Do you compete? No, no horse

Do you work with horses or have another job or lucky enough not to work!!! Work is sales but work flexi time so can work when I like as long as I do 40 hours a week. Good job to have a horse!
 
1) I have been riding since I was 4 and am now 20, so thats about 16 years

2) We now have just the 1, we had 4 at one point

3) Mainly SJ and dressage, we won't take Honey xc due to her navicular so that leaves SJ and dressage. Quite enjoy the whole dressage thing

4) Have lessons with Liza, can't remember her surname but she is the instructor who comes to our yard. Have lessons once or twice a week when I am home from uni. Have had lessons in the past from Joss Gray and Heidi Simmons....mean woodhead now she is married

5) Will be doing affliated dressage again from June and also unaffliated SJ

6) I am a student at St Andrews with no job, parents pay for Honey
 


How long have you been riding for?

Since i was 14, so nearly 8 years.

How Many horses have you got?

Had Ace, but part-exchanged him for Murph. Got another mare. Then another mare. Murph was put to sleep last May. Got another mare last July. So now have 3 mares - Dolly, Molly and Monique (Mo!)


What is your main discipline and why?

Happy hacker! Just graduated from uni though, so am hoping to do a bit more in the showing department.

Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom?

Up until now, no. But now uni's over (yay!), i will be.

Do you compete?

Only local open shows.

Do you work with horses or have another job or lucky enough not to work!!!

How Many horses have you got? Just 1 at mo looking for another
What is your main discipline and why? Showjumping - the fences fall down, I also do U/a ODE and stressage
Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom? Try fortnightly with a dressage judge and fortnightly with SJ area trainer
Do you compete? Only U/A at the moment
Do you work with horses or have another job or lucky enough not to work I don ot work with horses directly but do work in the equine industry

-mainly hacking (if thats a disapline) - cause i am not into shows but i am getting into dressage

-i am still at school but have a part time job at a kennels used to work at a yard were the woman previously bred exrace horses and had brought her oldy's home for retirement...still full of attidute lol.
-not really that interesting ... i ride western but only for pleasure

I have 4 horses

Main discipline is Show Jumping, why? Because it's the best

I have 3 lessons a week during term tim at college (will change next year nd I think I'll be on 2 fla and 2 jump lesosns per week if I can take the riding modules. I also get as much outside tuition as possible and I'm trying to gt in 1 jump lesson a month with Geoff Luckett.

I don't work.......I'm a lazy student!

Main interest is endurance - just love the whole thing of you and the horse together tackling miles and miles of different and difficult terrain.
Don't have lessons
Used to compete, but had a bad accident, so now do a lot to help organise rides and encourage grass roots endurance riders.
Am lucky enough not to work

- after years of juggling job, horses, daughter, etc., etc., And 5 years ago we bought our own place with land and stables - how lucky am I?

How Many horses have you got? - 2 a KWPN bay mare and ISH chestnut gelding
What is your main discipline and why? - Eventing cause I'm mad I guess
Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom? once or twice a month with Alison Abbey (dressage) and Caroline Creighton (jumping)
Do you compete? Yes most weekend usually either BSJA or BE
Do you work with horses or have another job or lucky enough not to work!!! - I wish work f/t for local council Environmental Health

Live in Cornwall so do a lot of travelling to compete with gee gees.
 
I've been riding since I was 6(ish) but only just got my first horse. We have three horses, mine, my sister's, and a pony I share with my youngest sister.
Hacking, schooling, jumping, just riding in general... I'd love to get into showing and dressage though. I have lessons once a week (again, ish). Nope, I don't compete, was going to take Jayjay to his first ever show next month but he's too ill

since birth. my grandparents had a quarter horse farm when I was growing up so I was lucky enough to be showing and riding all through my youth

four...well, 2 horses , one Shetland, and one mini to be precise

Western (because I grew up riding Western ) I am just into hacking and trail riding now

No, but I suppose some could do me good! They do everybody good!

Nope, but thinking about getting my daughters into some showing or barrel racing

I have an enormous job, and I suppose it does involve working with horses. I am a stay at home mom atm with three children and 16 animals to care for !

How long have you been riding for? Riding 7 years, properly and actually knowing what I am doing 2 years.
How Many horses have you got? 1 Nr ISH Bay Mare
What is your main discipline and why? Happy hacking, getting ready to compete. Lack of confidence mainly.
Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom? My YO who is also my trainer [love that word], she is BHSAI. I try to have a lesson at least once a week, failing that twice/three times a month.
Do you compete? Not at the moment but I shall be later this year!
Do you work with horses or have another job or lucky enough not to work!!! I have a job outside of horses

Rode for 4 years as a child, gave up at age 12, took it up nearly 10 years later and that was about a year and a half ago.

Have one hairy fell pony cross, have had him for 2 months

Main discipline is trying to overcome all my irrational fears and build some confidence. Did my first ever jump last week

No formal lessons at the mo, but get some teaching and advice from very experienced friend who is fab!

Am nowhere near a good enough rider to compete!

Work in an office being a general dogsbody and HR type person.

What is your main discipline and why? Eventing - but am a bit out of practice and planning to get back into it with the new horse next year - so unaffiliated this year.
Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom? yes - but should have more - mainly with my YO - some with David Merrett and some during the week at riding schools in London!

Any other interesting info - always loved horses and come from a non horsey family. Finally decided to take the plunge at 30!!! I just love looking after my horse and I would not swop him for anything - admire all you people who event and compete - wish I was as brave - but I am happy going out for lovely long hacks on a weekend..........

How long have you been riding for?

Started at 11, pretty much retired at 22!! (became a monthly happy hacker and occaisionaly taught PC) then 2 years ago bought Stinkerstonker - thats after a 23 year break!!!

How long have you been riding for? About 14 years.

How Many horses have you got? I havent got my own horse (Yet) although i am lucky enough to be able to ride a lovely youngster whenever i want and i also ride my friends horse sometimes.

What is your main discipline and why? I dont compete yet although i love showjumping and i'm starting to enjoy dressage (I was never really a fan before).

Do you have lessons and if so how often and with whom? I cant remember the last time i had a lesson with a qualified instructor but we all help each other out at the yard and i am planning to have some lessons in the future.

Do you compete? No at the moment but hopefully i'll be competing the youngster i ride next year maybe.

Do you work with horses or have another job or lucky enough not to work!!! I dont work with horses unfortunately. I'm a support worker for adults with learning disabilities.

coz i just LOVE it. But i also love showing and show jumping.
Not having regular lessons right now but i will when my yard (livery yard) is set up as i'll have an arena (at last!).
Only unaff showing at the mo but would love to BD/BSJA one day.
I'm just finishing off my Equine and Business Managaement degree at warwickshire College, Moreton Morrell and then i will be running my own livery yard 3 miles away on one of the family farms.
