Is it actually the moment you go over your notional winnings that your out of a BSJA class? Basically Im very near to being out of Fox, however because notional tends to change from actual I dont always know what Im going to get put on my card. I always do a 1.10 open and fox just now, my worry is if I win a 1.10 which puts me over and I do the Fox without knowing Im then over - if that makes sense??? Do BSJA allow for this if its done on the same day?

It's always notional money which counts as to whether you go out of a class.

Technically you should know your prize money limit and therefore if you win a 1.10 class and you realise it takes u over the limit you shouldn't enter the fox but as open class notional limits can vary its hard to know.

... and the BSJA website is so out of date that you can't usually check in time - especially if you exceed the limit on the day. Don't know what to say but good luck

we had it once when we had gone to a 4 day pre booked show at bicton. halfway through the show one of the ponies went out of BN so i had to go and change all classes for rest of show. i used to try and keep a printout and write on it myself after each show until the BSJA update there website.

Yeah, I do now keep a printout and add to it myself (since my record is incorrect anyway and BSJA have messed up my winnings a few times!), its just the notional differs from the actual so its hard to know how much Ill get on my card.

measles - Yikes, you know I have a BSJA jacket - who are ya?
