Hi Everyone, I've just realised that I've hit 100 posts and not yet introduced myself...how rude! Very sorry, so here goes...I'm getting on a bit and have 4 ponies, all mares...a gorgeous 14.2 cob who nannies me, my husband, daughter, daughters' friends and anyone else who needs a helping hand in the arena, a sec a who has early onset cushings, a welsh partbred who is an angel for my daughter (So was the Sec A until she got a chest infection on top of the cushings) and a 4 year old that I bred, backed last year and turned away, brought back into work this summer, not quite right, done the chiro, physio, vet and next she's off to Newmarket....so 2 out of 4 fully functioning at present. Keeping everything crossed that the other 2 girls stay sound!

A belated welcome wave heading your way>>>
Sounds like you have your hands full. Hope your youngest gets better soon. What are they thinking is wrong with her??

Hiya, its a big ? at the mo, she was becoming resistant in her upward transitions, improved on bute and worsened as it tailed off...slightly unsound behind on lunge but increasingly uncomfortable under the saddle (I stopped riding her half way through the bute test as it was obvious to me that something was wrong.) Suspect sacral area and right hip, symptomatic with having a good tumble in the field which is the only thing I can come up with. She lives out and I've never had an issue with tying up, loading, travelling, riding, so its the only thing I can think of. She'll have some scintography and we'll take it from there....
