Belated because I only got to hear today as a wheel very nearly fell off their lorry on the way home and they didn't get home until after midnight. Rosie's Dad had to go and rescue them from the side of the A14 but luckily no harm done.
After a very successful (for them) team SJ when they finished up 6th, Bertie did one of the worst dressage tests ever and came 16th in his arena. So moving quickly on to the eventing, Lottie had a not particularly sparkling 39.? dressage. She was somewhere in the middle at this stage but had a stop and time XC - entirely Rosie's fault she told me, rode like a muppet, trying to go to fast - Lottie likes to have a look before she jumps anything scary. But then they totally redeemed themselves by jumping a lovely clear SJ which I gather only 3 in their section managed. She ended up close to last but would have been 3rd without that stop. They had a great time though and I think all of the E Essex PC people ended up with rosettes of one colour or another.
A bit long winded, sorry, so choccies all round
