Anyone here good with breeds of dog?

Can anyone confirm or give me any ideas if you think this little guy is infact likely to be the cross in the title or perhaps something else?

In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter I'm mostly curious! I get him being only 4 months makes it some what difficult. Do you think he would stay long hair also? His coat looks on the change around his face.

Any opinions appreciated.

Looks more like a collie cross to me? Hard to tell from those pictures but Belgian Shepherds are a lot leaner (whether fluffy or not) and sharp faced for me, even with the labrador influence

Looks more like a Border collie x with those markings, not that I know anything about dog genetics but the white will not come through a lab and from what I know about BS they wouldn't be likely to pass on white paws/ chest either, he is cute though whatever his breeding.

I wasn't convinced he was that cross either tbh.

I can't see the lab in there or the shepard tbh. He is cute though, I didn't think labs allowed white through hence the curiosity.

Can't say I'm clued up on dog genetics or colours though.

I cant see any Belgian in that pup. Have you seen either parent?
Lab cross yes they often end up with white splashes....Belgian cant see it they are very sharp faced and generally lean bodied dogs. Labxcollie labxspaniel mayb? Any standing pics?

I don't think OP suggested she was buying this pup? just curious that what he looked liked and what his breeding was supposed to be, the same as I was curious who had given him that designation.

Oh I'm not planning on buying this pup, although i did ask about parents and got no reply...

Was mostly curious as he was such a funny looking fluff ball!

I am on the look out for a labrador pup but I'm in contact with KC breeders as i want the health checks and such before taking one home. I actually found this guy when i accidently clicked on gum tree with my fat fingers when searching breeders and was curious!
