Clearly there is more than one 'sceptical' person on this forum so can all choose to beleive what you wish as its a free country, those of you that have passed on kind thoughts and best wishes to my dear friend thankyou very much. but seeing the majorities reaction to the situation I shall not be posting nor will you here from me again. so Thankyou and Goodbye.

I dont expect the hundreds who wished her well compared to the (all of about) five who were sceptical makes the majority sceptical...

I imagine all it took to clear things up (as some of what was posted was conflicting and confusing) was to pm a trusted member the hospital name (perhaps RR?) so as a card and flowers could be sent? but you wouldnt allow the good people of HHO that... and people dont understand why? I'd have thought after the 'row' on here that DR would have been warmed to know she is so highly thought of by a majority of the forum for them to want to wish her well?

what a mess! again, I wish her well.
 
Something that has so tragic to happen to another forum member,that you have so kindly kept all informed......why let some narrow minded people drive you away!

Even the 5 or so of us who did query a couple of things, wished her genuine recovery and hoped that she was going to be OK! Like you say... no malice as far as I recall.

Actually everyone sceptical on here about this incident only has DR best interests at heart. Everyone is concerned that she is hurt and if not we want to know what on earth is going on SO WE CAN HELP.

I do not know what you have to gain by saying that you wont post anymore about it other than possibly making it look even worse than it does already.

And can I just say rightly or wrongly, that your post is exactly the sort of reaction that would be expected of DR, so what do you expect us to think?

I dont know what to think anymore, I just hope she or YOU are ok.

No way have 170 people posted querying this.

And like LankyDoodle says, noone except you is sure of anything, so updates would be appreciated!

Narrow minded I am not, I and a few others simply asked for some more info on the situation and noticed a few things that didnt add up. Had we have recieved this information we would have left it and concentrated on sending our best wishes to DR, which we do anyway, either way.
 
I haven't read that whole other post - but if I was injured in hospital I really wouldn't want the name of the hospital / ward etc to be posted on a forum where none of us actually know each other! I could be Boris Johnson for all anyone knows.

Assume the girl is injured, send your best wishes and if it all turns out to be made up - why does it matter to you anyway??

When the chips are down, the majority of members here are backing you both to the hilt. I feel this post will put doubts into more minds.
Don't be silly, keep us updated,most of us are routing for DR.

To be fair....you did label all those who asked questions as being 'narrow minded' which is kind of inflammatory.
But at the end of the day, sceptical or not, it isnt time for name calling and bickering amongst ourselves as we all have one thought at heart, and that is hoping DR is okay.

Considering that most of the people who posted about DR sent her their best wishes, i find you recent post harsh and uncalled for, i have kept out of this appart from saying get well soon, but this has really got my back up, it is unfair on everyone who is very worried about DR to leave this without letting us now how she is getting on .

Hmmmmmmm I still dont understand what those who are, shall we say less than 100% believing have to gain by "being right".........
 
I posted on the other thread as i find the whole thing a tad confusing........... However both myself and others who have reservations all wished DR well, and I said that the upside to this not being true is that noone would then have been injured. Not a nasty - or narrow minded!- post imo.
 
I will post updates on how she's doing once a week as there seem to be many caring people on here, and i shall respond to any Pm's about her but other than that i will not say anything else, sorry to anyone that was offended by my earlier statement but seeing some of the responses on my post this morning i felt ihad no other option.
