I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a thread this specific, so please admin delete if not appropriate .

Has anyone used Rob at bell equine (Kent) for wolf teeth extraction ? I'll have to get them out for sedation anyway so may as well get them to carry out the whole procedure. Normally my EDT would do it. But that are peoples thoughts on Rob? Please pm if you wish .

I know he's a well qualified dentist. I'm not sure if he's a vet too, but he certainly specialises in dentistry. I believe he has all appropriate qualifications etc , but you know what they say, proofs in the pudding and all that :)

i was asking as the laws around any dental work that is classed as invasive or likely to cause bleeding (including extractions) have changed and they can only be carried out by a vet-some dentists are i believe still doing the work but obviously insurance will not over them if anything goes wrong. i would advise you to check the legalities

Thats interesting to know, thanks. Will bear this in mind when i decide who to use. I completly trust my EDT but wouldnt want anyone doing anything to him without the correct insurance.

Rob is an excellent vet and dentist, he extracted my boy's wolf teeth some years ago with no problems.

Thanks everyone . Feel much more confident about using him. Do you roughly remember what you paid? (If you don't mind me asking) I've not had to have it done before and don't want a shock when the bill comes through :)

I've never had Rob for an extraction so not sure how much that costs, but in general he is pretty expensive because he is in such high demand. Your best bet is to give Bell-Equine a call and they will be able to advise you on costs!

Rob is a vet as well as a dentist and is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend him, he is also a very nice person.
Couldn't tell you on price though as have not had woolf teeth taken out for a good few years now. You wil be fine with Rob though.
