Is there a relatively easy way to straighten the metal spikes on the ends of electric fence posts?

Yep, a hammer

Probably not easily accessible, but I put ours in the gap of the hinges of a container door & just push the post which then straightens the spike against the container (if that makes sense!)

I use a joinery vice, but will try the hammer next time as it sounds easieer.

I wedge them between the gate and the gate post and bend them back.
