Bentonite long term

I am back! My little mare has FWS. She is on Bentonite and it works great! However, I have read that it is not recommended long term. This is because some nutrients and medications cannot penetrate the layer. Does anyone here have there horse on Bentonite long term? I am only looking for answers to this specific question. Thanks everyone!
 
if thats the ONLY reason then can you feed one feed a day with all supps etc in and a smaller feed other end of day with the clay in?

thats what is recommended with sucralfate which can also block uptake of nutrients etc
 
Thanks Hallo. She is on NO grain, Bermuda grass, probiotic, 3 times a day.
Bentonite one time in the am.

She has been on the Bentonite for 2 months and physically looks fine. Do I need to use supplements?
