Have just bought a 500ml bottle from ebay. Please can people tell me how to apply? ie.diluted or neat, spray from bottle or from cloth/gloves and how often please. My mare is due back from stud soon and she rubs the top of her tail,to the point it looks like a bog brush!

Put some gloves on and apply it neat onto her tail or sore patches. With my sweat itchy horse i applyed to all his itchy bits everyday. dont get it on any of your sensitive skin or in your eyes because it will sting like hell!!

Fab stuff!! Use it neat onto the itchy bits. Has the same consitancy as conditioner, ish!
DO NOT get it near your eyes, ouchy ouchy. Smells a bit funny too.
You will also note that it tends to draw out grease and grime, so for example if your ponio is grey, he will end up with dark dirty patches where you have applied it!

Blackjack had seriously bad sweetitch, to the extent that 75% of his mane would go, all of his tail (along his dock) and the hair along his spine down his quarters, but he was also allergic to Benzyl Benzoate . . . I'd recommend a test patch first!!!

thanks everyone, she literally only scratches the top of her tail when midges out in the heat.I tried naf off last year, but didn't do much,so covered her in fly rug which stopped her. But,tbh because she's going in foal,I'm going to try the old fashioned way and hopefully won't have to put rug on.

She rubs it whether in stable or field,so not a lot of point in bringing her in tbh!!
