Been done a hundred times but need farrier recommendations, sick of current farrier never being able to fit all mine in when I ask, have qualifier at weekend for minis and still not done, rather sick of it now, so can you recommend anyone who is good???

I use a lad called Scott Saunders, think he is pretty booked up though so not sure if he is taking more clients
We also have Karn Herbert come to the yard, wouldn't use him purely because you always seem to get fobbed off with his apprentices, I think Karn himself is okay though but again have never used so don't know on reliability
Or Adam Young, he's a good farrier but quite spendy

My farrier (Dominic Adcock) is awesome but I think fully booked - how many do you have?
I've also heard good things about David Matthews, he shoes a few at our yard and is Maidenhead based, or my instructor uses Mark Sayer who she rates. Also heard Scott Saunders does a good job.
Adam Young very difficult to get hold of, but a very good farrier if you can get him! Agree with Ben and Jerrys re Karn Herbert tho, seen a very bad job done by one of his apprentices but to give him his due he came out personally and sorted it out.
There is only one I wouldn't go anywhere near, PM me if you want to know who that is as don't want to be accused of anything but I know several people on this forum alone who have had bad experiences!

I use Luke Silcock. He is very very good, does daisy dick's horses. Not sure if he is taking on any new clients but if you PM me I'll give you his number.

Adam Young very sloowwwww but good.

Luke sounds very good...

Scott booked up gah!!!

Have one that is coming to sort weenies before weekend, but need a permanent arrangement!

I have 2 miniatures that only need doing usually each quarter, as dont grow that much.

One irish draft who has stud holes, good as gold.

One irish x who is ancient and well behaved also!!!

its not a lot to ask is it?
