Thought it might bring a little smile to the faces of those of you stuck at work on a Monday afternoon.

In her defence, I was squatting down in the field and my muck boots have a tread like household slippers, not outdoor wellies! Doesn't take much to make you slip, slide and lose footing in them. (I slipped off a five bar gate in them the other day and banged my chin!)

Not to self..."You forget to ask her to sit you muppet!"

Brilliant. Thanks for sharing it. It reminded me of the time I did a little obedience class years ago. My Goldie was in a run off situation for first place and the judge asked for recall. I was sooooo confident as this was her best area.
Anyway, it was a very hot day and running alongside the arena was a lovely muddy stream.
I set the dog up, walked away on direction from the judge.
"Call your dog"
I did so
Kim (My dog) looked at me. looked at the stream and you can guess what happened.
She ran over, rolled in the muddy water, then came running back to me with a perfect front position.
I'm not sure who laughed the most-me, the judge or the spectators!
No t surprisingly I lost. But it certainly taught me that pride comes before a fall.

That really made me laugh!!

At least she comes back, I was seriously concerned Otto was deaf today! He is a bloody toerag!

So, I thought I would do some training tonight with him in the safety of the house, he does a perfect sit, down, sit stay, down stay and recall in the house, went outside, did exactly the same

Take him outside in the day and his brain just switches off!
