Hi all, I am putting rubber matting in for winter, and I am wondering what is really the best bedding to use if you are trying to use minimal bedding. I always used to use Aubiose about 6/7 years ago, but realise there is a lot of new bedding on the market.

Your opinions please.

Trying to keep the work light and easy due to health problems.

Thanks

I use wood pellets (like Nature's Best but many other brands out there) and put them down like a litter where the horses want to wee. Takes minutes to muck out and it is very light weight (also comes in lightweight bags so easy to carry).

wood pellets here too. They've made a MASSIVE difference as previously it was a full muck out of minging mare on straw! Now 10mins and I'm done (still a full muck out)

I use megazorb and only put down a "pee pile" in my cob's stable, but my TB x wont lie down on it so he has a bigger bed of bliss - I can fully muck out both stables in 10 mins
