Following on from my post in NL about thinking about getting / loaning / sharing my 1st horse... can anyone recommend a good stable management book which could guide me through the basics and would be a good book for dipping into when needing more info on something.
When I say the basics I don't mean "Sophie's first pony book" - I'm 31!

The Pony Club's Manual of Horsemanship was the best thing I ever bought and I still open it for answers. It takes you from the very, very basics with good diagrams and explanations, but is never condescending.

Exactly the one I was going to suggest booboos... There is also the BHS one, manual of horsecare or something like that which is very comprehensive...
