I'm thinking of taking my daughter shopping for her birthday, we normally go to Houghton Country as it's local to us but was wondering where the biggest/best (not online) equestrian store is?
Don't mind a fair drive but hoping not to spend.the whole day in the car! We are NE based. Thank you 😊

Another vote for HVS at Somerford, it's huge and well stocked. The staff are very helpful for boot and hat fittings.

There's the café, plus you could have a snoop round the various state of the art facilities there.

It's a blanket no dogs policy at Somerford, though, just in case you thought you might want to bring a pooch for an airing.

There’s R&R nr Selby which is a decent size. Sadly the chippie next door is no more though.

Iron horse nr Doncaster is a bit smaller but fairly well stocked with an amazing cafe.
