Best bit to break a TB

It's all about trial and error
Some prefer metal mouth pieces such as a loose ring with french link or lozenge whereas some prefer a metal mullen mouth snaffle
Nathe bits seem to work well with babies

Have you got someone else breaking the horse for you? If so, presumably thay will have eperience of what has worked before.....??? Usually one would want to start with the bit that you would hope to be riding it out in - namely a snaffle, I wouls have thought?
 
I would and have always used either a lozenged snaffle (full cheek or loose ring) or a nathe bit for babies. Normally the lozenged to strat with, and then the nathe to teach them about the contact if they need something less fussy.
