Best shop in Scotland from Perth downwards to North Yorkshire for trying on a good range please. I am leaning towards an outlyne so definitely want to try them as well as race safe. Thanks.

I went into the Ayr Equestrian stall at a horse show and they had every size of Outlyne available to try on and that was just at a show!!!
So I presume they have all the sizes in store too. The man was super helpful and fitted me with one that was perfect for me. He knew exactly how the body protector should fit me.
They also do the Outlyne in bespoke colours so I ordered a bespoke one at the show and it arrived at my house 2 weeks later.

I would 100% recommend an Outlyne. It is so light and comfortable and it keeps your body cool going XC. I hate back protectors and only wear them during the XC when I am eventing but I was totally impressed with the Outlyne -I forgot I had it on because it was so comfortable and not in any way restricting.

Thanks hgor. That's exactly what I need but it's the other end of the country to where I am going if that makes sense. I suppose I've missed the shows this year now.

I'm sure they will be at the indoor shows! If you're going for an outlyne I'd definitely recommend getting someone to fit it on you as I was trying them on thinking I had found one that fit and then the guy came over and showed me how the one I had on didn't fit in any way!!

If going near York pop in to Ride Away. I got my racesafe there when I was visiting friends. They will have other makes to try as well.

Otherwise I would say big show would have been your best bet like Blair but that has been and gone.

You will get body protectors in tack shops round the central belt but they don't have a outstanding range and very few stock the racesafe.
