As title please - any recommendations? Have looked on amazon but thought it best to get any advice from people who would know as it's hard to tell from the 'back cover' how suitable and informative they may be. I would like the most comprehensive one possible and don't mind technical language as opposed to over simplified.

Many thanks in advance!

Either Janet Lorch's From Foal to Full Grown or Peter Rossdales Horse Breeding for me. There's also Henry Wynmalen's Breeding & Stud Management and another called Breeding the Competition Horse. If anyone wants them, I won't be needing my copies again so they will be going on ebay.

I have a copy of Peter Rossdale's Horse Breeder sat on my desk PM me & I'll post it to you for a donation to Equine Market watch or World horse welfare.

"Equine Reproduction" -- McKinnon & Voss. The standard veterinary text book. Mine cost me £75. Well, you did ask!

Of course, there is always your local library and Inter-Library Loan. Your friendly librarian is trained to help.
