As the title really? I've seen the posts re. the Premier Equine range and after reading all the positive comments have decided to definitely get a set of the air-flow ones for xc. Do you also use these for day to day (hacking and schooling etc)? Sorry for the thicky sounding post - I've been out of the competition scene for a number of years and was just wondering what everybody did these days? Many thanks in advance.

I'm just about to get some PE ones for xc to. I wont be using them day to day though. I have a set of white NEW boots for schooling and some woof club boots for general hacking about. Having said that i'm generally in a hurry and chuck on whichever combination of these some to hand

as a rule i use the woof club boots for hacking/schooling in although i also tend to use old comp boots that have been replaced with a new set lol!!!

i never hack in open fronted boots though.

I hack in Woof club boots too. I did have some Premier Equine Brushing boots (just bog standard) but looking in their new catalogue I think they have stopped doing these. I think lightweight & flexible is the order of the day for hacking boots.

The only thing I would say is that if you are using Prem Equine for both jobs they spend a lot of time in the washing machine and mine have all got a bit frayed. If you have a set just for hacking they needn't be spotless all the time and won't get washed and worn out so quickly.

Thanks everyone. I have always used the Woof club boots and think they're really good. I will continue with these for hacking and schooling and get some new PE boots just for xc and jumping. How exciting - I'm off to order some now!!
