Ok, I am desperately in need of some new boots. Budget is up to £250 (OH is buying cos he won when we were at the races last week 
).
Most of the boots I have had in the past have been too short for me. I remember reading somewhere recently (may have been on here, actually) that new long boots should basically sit at the back of the knee when new, so that they are still long enough when the ankle drops.
I would also prefer something a bit "different" - I want them to be smart, but the only competing I do is a bit of online dressage, so no turnout rules to follow.
I LOVE the Dublin Intensity patent red boots and gaiters, but I am just trying to work out if the medium size will be long enough for me. I got all excited as it looked like they were doing a "tall" version, but turns out that's only available in black or brown
