I need some new riding boots for everyday wear that won't break the bank. Don't mind colour, length or style, would prefer steel toe caps but accept I probably won't get them. Most important is that they are comfortable and will last being ridden in 6 days a week.

Have you tried looking at any by Harry Hall - They usually last well and will be within budget...

I'm sure my Mountain Horse - (with steel toe caps) are under £60

- and I love them and wear them all the time including walking dog, going round shows etc etc.

Inca has tried them out and I promise they work

- even Daisy won't be able to squish them!!

ETA - also roomy enough to get warm winter socks on - my feet stay warm in them too!! as well they are fairly waterproof and clean up well and last if I remember to use leather balsam

Another vote for Mountain Horse protective jodphur boot. Have had these for years and found them very comfy and hard wearing. Money well spent, as they have saved my toes a few times

.

I found them fairly generous on the size, but that was fine as they do half sizes.

I have a pair of brand new Equitector boots for sale - £30 if you want to pm me. Very smart, never worn with steel toe caps.

Also, I've just bought a pair of K*TY steel toe cap boots from Equestrian Clearance as they were on sale for about £25. Not as smart as the Equitector but seems to be a tough durable everyday boot.
