I really need some new everyday jodhpurs, I've been having a look online but the choice is overwhelming. I don't really like synthetic fabrics, so looking for cotton based/natural fibre based. Does anyone have any recommendations of good brands to look at? Comfort obviously is the number 1 priority, and hard wearing/lasts long would also be good.

Pikeur lugana are my favourite. They are expensive but wear well, just choose a darker colour. You can find them reduced in certain size/colours online.

the choice is overwhelming I hate shopping! Do you have a tack shop nearby where you can go try things on? Then it narrows your choices a bit!

Decathlon do some really good cotton ones and they are really comfortable. Best of all, they don’t break the bank!

Eileen Douglas are fantastic - I have had Pikeur, Dainese, Ariat, Schumacher, Premier Equine and I love my Eileen’s. My current absolute favourites cost £20. They tend to do 2-3 years and I ride a lot of horses and live in them. I hate leggings so need to be proper breeches.

For winter I live in my Pikeur Luganda soft shell with the fleecy lining. I use the lighter weight ones plus Cavallo Chagal in the summer. None of them are cheap but they last for years and still look good.

I bought a pair of fleece lined Aubrions for winter recently and have been really pleased at how comfortable and warm they are for the price, would definitely recommend ?

Another vote for Pikeur. I've tried tights (not for me), and gel seats (not for my saddle), and other brands (just don't seem as comfy or wear as well).
So I return to my expensive Pikeur (McCrown seat ones only) - however, they do last for years and keep looking good.

I've always been a huge fan of Shires Wessex breeches, but then I drunkenly ordered a pair of Horzehoods riding jeggings (at four times the price), and promptly ordered another two pairs. So comfortable and stretchy, lovely deep phone pocket with a flap and popper, and they look enough like normal jeans that I even wear them to work. The only downside is that they are a smidge too long, so the phone pocket ends on my knee.

I love Flexars they are what I wear everyday. For everything. Long lasting easy to wash and never loose their shape. Worth every penny.
