Best brush or comb for spaniel ears.

I have just got an 8 month old Sprocker and she has typical long cocker ears!
What is the kindest and best brush or comb to use on them?
She seems to hate the idea of them being brushed so i want to be kind and will make a point of doing it every day while OH holds her still.

I use a comb on Otto's ears, not particularly wide toothed, but not a flea comb. Just do it every couple of days, they soon get used to it!

Can't help I'm afraid - Sweep won't let me do anything like that - he goes and gets clipped and cleaned up every three months and in between he is an au naturel rufty tufty spaniel! with twigs, mud and who knows what else in his coat!

But I find a comb much easier for the ears, especially if they're not keen on the idea!

buy some cowboy magic detangle and shine, rub a little bit in and all the tangles/tats will then come out when you comb them through

we use it for our cocker spangle!!
