What brushing boots do you use for x-country or schooling and how do they rate them? Need a new pair & unsure which ones to get!

i have the premier equine air cooled event boots for xc. very impressed with the quality & price.

If it was brushing boots I wanted I thnk I would go for the trizone ones.

the N.E.W ones with fluff as they dont let the grit inbetween leg and boot

For everyday stuff I have the Woof brushing boots, they are about £30 per pair and I have had mine for over 10 years and they are still going strong. They are used everyday, washed every couple of weeks and are still great. They dont rub either.

hi,

I got 2 pairs of second skin boots at Bramham, and am very impressed, they have gel, breathable and also double locked. They are much more flexible then the woof boots, about £30 per pair, not sure where to get them though online!!

definitely not trizone ones, they wear away too quickly, didnt last me 2 weeks.

Barnsby, Woofwear or NEW are all good and inexpensive.

Scottish_Miss, why do you want boots with gel in? serious question, i can't think of a good reason to have them in any horseboots tbh, surely they hold heat, are heavy, and sweaty, and not as protective as a solid tendon guard? am i missing something hugely obvious here?! ta.

i would look at premier equines, i have the extreme and air cooled event boots which are excellent
also have prolites which are very good, or for bog standard brishing boots i have mark todd ones which are excellent and very good value for money

For brushing boots I have ww and they have lasted me years. I have had mine 4 years. I also have a pair of mums from years ago. In fact they are almost 20 years old (no exageration) and they still are good.
