Best calmer for tb showing

possibly looking for an instant calmer for my boy. taking him to do ridden ex race horse class at a local show but hes known to get very excitable at shows. at our last showing show last march he couldnt do a gallop due to him being to excited. hes currently in a snaffle but cannot change his bit as weve already tried many and this is the only bit hell settle in. hes not done a ridden show outdoors on grass which i think will get him more hyped up

I don't have a tb but I have Arabs so they are both blood horses, I have used the Carl hester syringe calmer and I think it did make a difference and long term I have and still do in the winter use the global herbs tb calmer for one of my Arabs, it does take a few weeks for it to have a proper effect but I think it really takes the edge off him, he too gets hot and silly on grass and open spaces.
 
hes currently on NAF magic calmer for the long term but just need something for this as the other horses there are usually very hot headed and fiery which may also set him off more. it shall be an experience and a learning curve :) thanks for the help
 
Calmers never really worked for my guy, but I did use to lunge him in the morning before going to the show and that definitely helped :p
