I don't usually bother uploading pics to Photobucket so I can put them on here, but had to share this one - I thought I had lost my beautiful Islay in November, and to have her still with me on Christmas Day happy, eating well and enjoying her walks was worth more than any present I could ever imagine :)

I'm not kidding myself, the vets saw something on the scans/x-rays that they couldn't identify without invasive surgery, but for now I am very much enjoying each day with her that I have - and I am making sure she thoroughly enjoys herself too :)

Aww she's adorable I've heard greyhounds make fantastic pets! It's awful the way so many of the end up in dogs homes when not used for racing anymore:-(

OP she's lovely. Have you thought of putting her on turmeric? The closed turmeric user group on facebook is extremely informative and there are some amazing tales regarding tumours reducing after weeks on turmeric. It is a powerful anti oxidant and anti carcinogenic. I use it on all my 5 horses for various reasons with great results.

Lovely picture and post Lévrier. So nice to get good news on here when a dog has been really poorly.
I have a little rescue who must be almost 15 at the very least. Apart from a bit of deafness she is still in great form but I treasure every moment I still have with her.
Best wishes Islay, more happy days.

Thank you all for your lovely comments :) :) I hadn't heard of tumeric Y&C but someone on Facebook has added me to a group on there - I wondered why :D I shall do some investigation, thank you :)

Lovely picture of a beautiful pointy hound :)

(Oh god you have a cream sofa, you nutter :p)

The sofa was £25 from a local FB site, otherwise I wouldnt have considered it :D :D The other sofa is black leather so a lot more practical (as you can tell, my furniture is classy and matches well :p )
