Best Clip?

Hi all, looking at getting my pair clipped over the next couple wks...

My ISH has a pretty fine coat, & isn't of the Wolly variety - what clip would be best for her?

Plus what clip is best for a section A - need to have her coat in tip top shape for the show season next year

That would depend on the individual circumstances of each horse - how they are kept, what work they are in.

ISH lives out full time.

It depends on the weather for the Section A but she would be out more that she is in.

Unless they are in work that causes them to sweat up then neither of them would need clipping.

A small trace clip for both - if anything.

I'd bib clio the A. It's the easiest clip to get out or disguise plus it leaves most of the coat for living out

I wouldn't clip either. When/if their coat becomes an issue, I'd do a low trace, then if work & lifestyle make it necessary & suitable, think about taking more off next time.

I have to fully clip my mare October time as she sweats up really easily and she lives out most of the time and only comes in when she is misrable.
